Whānau are so important to us – we work together with you to formulate a developmentally appropriate learning journey for your child. We put so much value on your feedback and any information you can share from interests and experiences at home, to holidays, values and beliefs and areas you wish for your child to grow in.
Our curriculum is focused on individual child’s interests, and from there we challenge and extend their thinking, generating and refining working theories about the world around them.
We like to get out into our community to build and extend on what we are learning about. Our regular excursions are to the library, museum, Rosebank, Ashburton College and any other direction our programme and interests take us. We also encourage parents/whānau and visitors to join us in the centre. As a part of our centre, we also have a large vegetable garden which we like to regularly venture into, supporting tamariki to understand where their food comes from.
