Kia ora, my name is Kathleen and I have been teaching at Phoenix Preschool for more than two years now. I live locally with my partner Nathan, son Tyson, and daughter Rylee (who also attends Phoenix Preschool and absolutely loves it!). <\/span><\/p>

Outside of preschool we love spending our weekends exploring new outdoor places for the kids to play, making memories with family and friends, and enjoying cosy family movie nights together.<\/span><\/p>

I've always had a passion for teaching ever since I was a child myself, and I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to be able to turn that lifelong passion into a career where I can nurture and support tamariki during such important stages of their development.<\/span><\/p>

I am especially passionate about infants and toddlers and the incredible developmental journey they experience in the early years of their lives. I believe in building positive, trusting, and reciprocal relationships with tamariki and wh\u0101nau, creating strong foundations, where tamariki feel safe, valued, and empowered to learn and grow each day.<\/span><\/p>
