Kei ti mihi ki te maunga whakaruruhau ko Otūwharekai
Kei te mihi ahau ki te awa e rere nei ko Hakatere
Ko Filipino te whakapaparanga mai
Ko Camiguin te whenua tupu
To Temuka tōku whānau e noho ana
Ko Hakatere te kainga ināianei
Kei te mahi ahau hei kaiako ahau i Phoenix Hapori Kōhungahunga
Ko Weena Boborol tōku ingoa
No reira,
Tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou, tēnā tatou katoa
Maligayang bati sa inyo (Warm greetings to you all)
I’m Weena and I have called Aotearoa my home for the last 12 years. I was born in the Philippines and migrated to this beautiful country back in 2014 when our residency visa was approved. Over the next few years, more and more of my immediate family had come over and now my parents and all my siblings, together with their tamariki are now here. My youngest brother had gotten married last year and in July 2026 we are expecting another addition to the whānau.
