Kia ora my name is Kate, I have been teaching for many years now and over 5 years here at Phoenix Preschool. I love to get to know all the tamariki and their families and see it as a great privilege to be able to work with the tamariki to assist them to be the best that they can be.
I enjoy sharing books and stories with tamariki, so I have a large collection of them for the tamariki to explore.
When I am not at Phoenix I love to spend time with my family and friends, especially my nephew and niece. I also love to find different places to eat out and enjoy trying new foods. Another pass time is going to the movies. I also love good travel shows. Travelling is something that I want to do more of.
I am not a mum myself, but I do have a ragdoll cat called Izzie that is very entertaining to have around.
I enjoy working with such passionate and dedicated teachers who place the tamariki at the heart of what they do everyday.
